Our History | R&S Sports

For over four decades, R&S Sports has been a cornerstone of the Edinboro and Erie County, PA community. It was founded in 1982 by Ron and Halli Bidwell, serving as a reliable local staple. The business was purchased by new owner, Brandon Langill, in 2025.

R&S Sports is set apart by its custom embroidery, screen printing, and sewn-on lettering at competitive pricing. This specialization has positioned R&S Sports as one of the only dedicated custom embellishment shops in Erie and Crawford Counties.

Our new owner

Brandon Langill is bringing a fresh look and new skillset to R&S Sports. After 20 years of active duty in the US Marine Corps, Brandon has returned to his hometown of Edinboro for his next mission. As a GM graduate and descendant of Dr. Harold Ghering (of Ghering Health and Wellness Center on Edinboro's campus), Brandon has a deep love and connection to the schools and community. For Brandon, purchasing R&S is more than a business venture; it is a new sense of purpose and a commitment to preserving a piece of the hometown's heart, right down the street from where he grew up.

Our commitment is to build upon R&S Sports' established success by providing the same trusted service of the last 40 years. We are deeply integrated into the community, serving loyal clients like PennWest Edinboro, General McLane, Cambridge Springs High School, Venango Valley Golf Course, and many more. Our long-term plan includes modernizing the store and services to provide even better, broader offerings. We are dedicated to actively supporting our local schools, clubs, businesses, teams, athletes, and coaches, ensuring R&S remains a vital and available resource for the Edinboro area.
